This panel talk is part of our Nikon Comedy Wildlife Awards Exhibition that showcases the best images from thousands of hilarious wildlife photos submitted from across the globe - be sure to have a look at the exhibition after the talk. The exhibition will be open for viewing from December 11th to 15th, 2024, between 09:00 AM and 6:00 PM. Admission is FREE.
Roxy's Profile:
Roxy Furman is a freelance filmmaker and photographer who specialises in creating short-form content that highlights the beauty of the natural world, animals, and the exceptional individuals devoted to transforming our planet positively. Armed with a First-Class honours degree in Zoology and an MA in Wildlife Filmmaking, Roxy's career started in-house at Silverback Films, learning about what it takes to make blue-chip wildlife series. From there, she went on to produce an award-winning film, I Am Capable, sharing a story of a trailblazing woman promoting inclusivity in the outdoors, that kickstarted her freelance career. As a passionate animal activist, Roxy aims to use her work to advocate for pressing environmental issues, and firmly believes in our collective ability to make a tangible difference in safeguarding our planet.
Cam's Profile:
Cam is a Nikon Creator specialising in wildlife photography, whilst also being a children’s TV presenter and a wildlife adventurer. He lives and works from his family’s zoo and The Big Cat Sanctuary. His aim is to inspire and educate audiences about the importance of protecting our natural world for future generations.
