Nikon School are delighted to be hosting brand new bespoke one to one sessions with professional aviation photographer Rich Cooper. The two hour session will be catered and personalised to your needs to help you with your aviation photography and portfolio review . There will also be the chance to speak with Rich Cooper about his career, experiences and photographic knowledge.
Rich is a full-time professional photographer and journalist, and has been behind a camera for around 30 years. He has been commissioned for shoots all over the globe, with a 20-year pro career in publishing, editorial, design and journalism. Commercially, he provides stunning bespoke coverage of anything from a war zone to product delivery, specialising in 'available light' and 'reportage' photography. He is a coveted aviation and commercial photographer and is known throughout the world for his aviation images and reporting.
Rich has only ever entered two competitions and won accolades in both. He was the 2012 Finalist in the Professional Photographer of The Year, and went on to win the coveted title of “Action & Extreme Professional Photographer of The Year” in 2014.
As the head of operations at The Centre of Aviation Photography (www.centreofaviationphotography.com) and COAP Media (www.coapmedia.com). He is a Special Correspondent for Combat Aircraft, the world’s largest aviation magazine and undertakes UK and world-wide submissions for the leading UK and mainland European magazines, plus those in Asia, Australasia and Russia as well as the mass-reach online markets with such outlets at Time Inc’s The War Zone. His work is found in all forms of online and published books, magazines and one-off publications, and has been a member of the Royal International Air Tattoo Photographic Team for over 20 years.
