Mark Seymour is one of London's leading professional documentary wedding photographers who has won numerous awards and gained many accolades, including becoming Nikon UK’s first ambassador for wedding photography. Mark has developed his own recognisable wedding photography style which is based on documentary reportage photography with an emphasis on observation; capturing the illusive moments full of emotion, that will tell the unique story of a wedding day.

Kate Hopewell-Smith specializes in superior wedding and lifestyle portrait photography, Kate's uniquely creative photographic style and exceptional level of service has made her one of the most sought after photographers in her area. Kate too became an ambassador for Nikon UK alongside her busy career and training workshops

Morning talk: Wedding Walk through and Q&A: Weddings require fast thinking and fast shooting and include an enormous range of technical challenges – so it is no surprise many people are afraid to shoot them. Kate will walk through the entire wedding day from bridal preparations all the way through to the first dance – discussing lens choice, key settings and when to have speedlights on hand to enhance the available light when it is lacking. She will leave time for a Q and A so bring a list of worries and concerns and leave the session with renewed knowledge and confidence.

Afternoon talk: Is Natural Light really enough? : Many location portrait and wedding photographers market themselves as ‘natural light shooters’ and usually the truth is that they don’t feel confident in using additional lighting. Kate will discuss how to find the best available light on location and use it to your creative advantage. But she will also explain why it is so important to gain confidence and knowledge with speedlights and basic modifiers to ensure that you can produce quality imagery in all situations – particularly sunny, backlit scenarios or in low light.
