During this workshop you will be provided with a solid understanding of the skills and techniques required to capture portraits and action shots of a range of different dogs. There will be a professional handler on hand and you will be split into small groups to allow the dogs to rotate and rest between shoots. The Nikon tutor will be discussing and demonstrating the best techniques to capture the characteristics of these animals to make sure you get some stunning images for your portfolio. We will be working with a range of dogs, but in particular some more rare and unusual breeds that you may not usually get the chance to photograph.
We will be meeting at the Kennel Club Building in Stoneleigh Park at 10:30am and the course will run until approx 4pm. A buffet lunch will be included so please let Nikon School know if you have any dietary
If you have any further questions about the course or about how to find the Kennel Club building please contact Nikon School.
Average customer rating for this course:
"This was the third time I've attended the dog photography days at the Kennel Club so that speaks for itself. We got fantastic weather and could shoot outdoors all day. My main reason for attending now was to build my portfolio and I am very happy with what I got - lots of great pics of wonderful dogs and some really special shots. Neil is an excellent trainer, with a deep knowledge of photography (dogs and lots more) and of Nikon equipment. Will I return for more? Definitely"
"The event was very well organised and coordinated especially with the cliche of “never work with animals”. Neil explained, for each dog breed how the session would flow as well as reasoning for positionings for the photographers to get the optimum images and things to avoid ie backgrounds."
"This was a really fun and interesting day, with lots of different dog breeds to photograph, lenses to try out and the instructor Neil was really knowledgeable and helpful. I really liked how the information was so camera specific, being a Nikon run class, and the advise about composition, and techniques for panning and tracking the dogs were very useful. I'm really pleased with some of the photos I came away with."
"This is my first attempt at photographing dogs and it was amazing. During the day I got to test out the lenses that I intend to buy as well as getting a good look at the new 850. Great day"
