Join us at Nikon School to see a talk by professional wildlife Photographer Chris Gomersall who will be sharing top tips and Photography stories. This event is an informal gathering for all levels of photographers who are interested in Wildlife Photography, and we will also be offering the opportunity or try out the latest Nikon kit. Everyone is welcome, from beginners to professionals, but book early as spaces are limited.
Chris Gomersall is one of the UK’s best-known wildlife photographers, with a 35-year track record of professional activity, including 14 years employed as in-house photographer at the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds. Chris's work has won a number of international awards, and in 2007 he was honored to be chosen as the overall winner of the prestigious GDT European Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition - the first British photographer to receive this accolade. He has also acted as a judge for the international Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition. On the educational side, he is the author of several books, and is a vastly experienced workshop tutor and wildlife photography tour leader, working with Nikon School since 2007. In addition, he is a visiting lecturer at University College Falmouth and the University of Nottingham and one of his images recently received first place in the Environment category of the inaugural Bird Photographer of the Year Awards.
