Getting Started With DSLR Part 1

REVIEWER: Martin B.

DATE: OCTOBER 2018

RATING: 5 of 5

"A great course! Really enjoyed it. My biggest fear from reading previous glowing reports about the course was that somehow it wouldn't work for me. Needn't have worried! Beforehand I had lots of 'random' knowledge drawn from magazine articles, camera user guides, camera shop, online discussions etc. etc. This course started at the beginning, and as the day went on my random knowledge all started to gel together so that I am now hugely more confident handling the camera."

"This is an excellent course, our trainer was very clear and precise and was more than happy to explain things again when one of us got stuck or confused. Would recommend this course to anyone who is a beginner or needs a bit more in depth tuition. "

Super Class - getting Started Round 1

REVIEWER: Robert P.

DATE: AUGUST 2018

RATING: 5 of 5

"This actually was one of the best Saturdays I have had I quite some time. Learned a lot in the 6 hours, that didn't seem like 6. I was probably somewhat intimidated by my new camera before the course, but as Neil promised, enjoyed using the Manual mode by the end of the day. Looking very much forward to the second session!"

Good course for beginners

REVIEWER: Thomas P.

DATE: JUNE 2018

RATING: 5 of 5

"I enjoyed the course. It starts with the very basics of DSLR photography, but by the end we were comfortably using our cameras in full manual mode and controlling the key settings ourselves. The class participants had a range of different Nikon DSLRs but the trainer was able to take us through changing settings with reference to our own personal cameras which was very useful. There was also plenty of opportunity to ask questions to clarify our understanding. "

"The course fully covers the basics of photography and gives a good space to practical exercises. Ricci has been able to catch my attention tailoring the contents to the interests and abilities of the attendees. I strongly suggest to attend if you are looking for rapid improvements or trying to understand how to get the most from your camera outside automatic mode."
